Help Needed Translating Arduino’s IDE to Klingon!

dcuartiellesMarch 29th, 2012

Do you want to see Arduino’s IDE translated to your own language? Do you have one hour to put into that? You can now help out by following the instructions to be found at this page in the playground. Any submissions before April 7th will be included in the next release of the software: Arduino 1.01.

So far we have: English, Japanese, and German seems to be on the way. Come and give us a hand any language … literally, any language is welcome: http://arduino.cc/playground/Main/LanguagesIDE

    From the site:

“5) if you are really sure there is none making that translation, get this file and change the name from Resources_en.po to be Resources_YOUR-LANGUAGE.po where YOUR-LANGUAGE is the two-letters acronym for your language according to the ISO standard”

    Two things:

    1) When you click on “ISO standard”, it links to ISO 3166, which is country codes. I think you want ISO 639: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_639

    2) Hope you don’t mind that Klingon’s ISO code (tlh) has three letters.

Anyhow, I’ll definitely help with Swedish and Klingon if I can find the time for it 🙂

you are right, I changed it to the right page before I could even see your comment 🙂 But you were fast … I did that yesterday night about 20m after I made the mistake!

    Tackar jag och vi ses,
