runShellCommandAsynchronously()

Description

Starts a Linux shell command

Unlike runShellCommand(), runShellCommandAsynchronously() is not-blocking. Your sketch will continue to run while the Linux process runs in the background.

Syntax

  • Process.runShellCommandAsynchronously(cmd)

Parameters

  • cmd : String containing the command to execute

Returns

  • none
